The camera feature allows real-time capture of RGB values, which are then matched to the closest color name in a dictionary containing nearly 900 colors. Additional options include RYB, HSL, and CMYK values, HTML color code, the nearest HTML color name, and a simple color name.

• Tap a color square to access details for that specific sample at any given moment.
• The "Auto" mode utilizes the camera's auto focus and contrast adjustment functions. "Lock" enables fixing or locking the current contrast setting. The "Target" feature permits users to designate a specific area on the screen as the source for color sampling, which is particularly helpful when the device cannot be moved without disrupting focus/contrast or if it is fixed in place.
• Color sample sets can be managed in the Edit section. In ColorAssist Lite, in-app purchasing options are available to upgrade for emailing color samples with color chips, color chips alongside a selected photo, or just plain text. A new in-app purchase option offers enhanced management of multiple sample sets.
• Within the Options menu, users can choose which color conversions to view and set the spatial and temporal apertures ranging from 1x1 to 50x50 pixels and 1 to 30 frames.
• Utilize the "Target" selector and touch the screen to relocate the sample without moving the device physically.
